Application Development has begun & I have took a very strong liking to the subject already. I have always wanted to be able to code and the closet I came was HTML & CSS. But now a whole new opportunity is arising and quite frankly I plan on grasping it and getting as much from this module as possible. Currently just working through a variety of tutorials issued to the class.

Web Technologies will be a very interesting unit, as is any web unit really. I doubt there will be a point at which I stop learning new things with the web, it's so diverse and communal driven that there is always new hot trends or features arriving. Not to mention a very enthusiastic tutor for this unit who has the experience most of us don't, for example running a web hosting company. So far I know I must create a template for an actual client then present this to the class & others. Nerve racking yes but if I truly believe in what I preach, all should be fine.

Sound Theory is an odd unit, especially in its title. The majority of the unit is actually practical work with only a small proportion down to the proper theory of sound. None the less the theory aspects that are covered seem rather extensive & in depth. These are the Physics of Sound, Psycho acoustics etc. The main practical element required is a 15 minute long documentary about a subject of my choice. Harder than it sounds, believe me.
